Additionally, there are reports of heavy snowfall in mountainous regions. The meteorological department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall and snowfall in the hilly states today. Moreover, warnings for rain have been issued in various states of North-West India.

In several regions of Uttar Pradesh, heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds has been ongoing for the past two days. According to the meteorological department, the trend of rainfall is expected to continue today as well, with anticipation of showers in 57 districts of the state. Most districts are likely to experience thunderstorms along with rainfall, accompanied by winds gusting at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The state is once again experiencing a spell of chilly weather due to the rainfall.

**Weather Department's Alert in These States**

The weather department has issued a yellow alert for rainfall and lightning in several states across the country today. Rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is also possible in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Punjab, and Eastern Haryana. However, the intensity of rainfall is expected to decrease according to Skymet Weather's report. The weather department forecasts a change in weather patterns in Eastern and South-East Rajasthan, Eastern Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Chhattisgarh, and different regions of Bihar. These states may experience light to moderate rainfall in some areas. Additionally, light rainfall is anticipated in various areas of West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam.

**Unsettled Weather in Delhi**

The weather department predicts similar weather conditions to persist in the capital city of Delhi for the next four days, with chances of showers during this period. There is also a possibility of drizzle. Due to the rainfall, there is expected to be a significant drop in minimum temperatures. The minimum temperature may drop from 14 degrees Celsius to 9 degrees Celsius, leading to a sense of cold among the residents. An alert for rainfall has also been issued in the surrounding areas of Delhi.

**Orange Alert in Himachal Pradesh**

An alert for rainfall and snowfall has been issued in the hilly states of the country, with Himachal Pradesh expected to be the most affected. The meteorological department of Himachal Pradesh has issued an orange alert for Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Kinnaur, Lahaul and Spiti districts. These areas may experience heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning accompanied by strong winds.

**Rainfall Expected in 57 Districts**

The weather in Uttar Pradesh has been undergoing noticeable changes over the past two days. According to the meteorological department, most districts of the state are likely to experience rainy weather accompanied by strong winds today. The possibility of rainfall has been forecasted in 57 districts of the state. Among these, 35 districts are expected to receive heavier rainfall. Moreover, several areas in the state may experience winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Some places may also witness rainfall on March 4th.

Rainfall has been occurring intermittently in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, since Saturday night. Similar weather conditions are expected to persist in the city today as well. Meteorologists attribute this to a western disturbance and cyclonic circulation prevailing over North Indian plains, along with moist winds from the Arabian Sea, resulting in significant weather changes. However, there is a possibility of improvement in weather conditions from Monday onwards.
