Weather Update: IMD issues rain alert in Delhi-NCR & UP-Bihar after 18 August

New Delhi: The 'Break Monsoon Stage' in the country is currently expected to continue till August 18. That is, there is no possibility of rain till August 18 in many states including Punjab, Haryana including the capital Delhi.

Talking about the latest update of the Meteorological Department, due to good rains in the last 10 days of August, the rain deficit in Delhi is expected to be fulfilled. Let us inform that at present, the monsoon rains have been braked in the capital Delhi. Today i.e. even on Independence Day, people in the capital Delhi are facing heat.

Rain in Delhi-NCR:

According to Skymet Weather, a pressure system is developing in the Bay of Bengal. It will pass through South Madhya Pradesh in west direction and draw Monsoon Trough. This is the reason that from August 19, there will be rain in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall after August 18:

On the other hand, if we talk about the weather of Rajasthan, then it will start raining again from August 18. According to the local Meteorological Department, there are chances of heavy rains in some districts of the state on August 18.

There is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh today i.e. on Independence Day. Drizzle has been recorded in district Kangra in the morning. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain and lightning in Kangra Solan and Sirmaur on Sunday.
