Weather Update: IMD issues heavy Rain Alert in Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: Last week's sluggish monsoon has gathered pace since Tuesday. It rained record-breaking on Tuesday and even today, it is raining intermittently since late night. It is raining in Delhi-NCR since morning.

At the same time the wind is blowing. At the same time, due to rain, water has started accumulating again in many places.

Due to the rains in the national capital, water-logging has occurred at many places. People are facing a lot of problems due to waterlogging under the flyover in Munirka. There is water under the Minto Bridge in Delhi. Drivers are facing a lot of trouble.

Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department had told that the weather of Delhi-NCR will not be clear even in the next 24 hours. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the capital, in such a situation, there is a possibility of moderate rain.

Due to this, the relief from the heat will continue and the maximum temperature is likely to remain up to 29 and the minimum temperature is 25 degree Celsius. After this, a yellow alert continues for the next two days. However, there is no chance of heavy rain.

It will be cloudy throughout the day and the rain will continue. Wind will move from moderate level and humidity level will also remain high. There is a possibility of rain since morning, it will rain till evening.

Earlier on Tuesday, the rain in Delhi-NCR broke the record of seven years. The capital recorded 84.1 mm of rain within 24 hours, the highest since 2013. Earlier in August, 95.2 mm of rain was recorded seven years ago.

According to the Meteorological Department, on Tuesday, the maximum temperature was five below normal at 28.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was one less than normal at 25.4 degrees Celsius. Which is the lowest since 2010. Earlier it was recorded at 31 degree Celsius.
