Weather Update: Heavy Snowfall in Mountains, Rain Alert in UP, Delhi, Punjab & Haryana

New Delhi: From the hilly states of the country, the swarm of dense clouds is continuously moving towards the plains. On Thursday, January 6, dark dense clouds will be seen. But, on 7 January, a stronger weather system is reaching the mountains of North India. This will further intensify the seasonal movement in the country. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), too much moisture from the Arabian Sea is moving towards the plains of the country.

Winter Season in India:

Whose route passes through Saurashtra and Kutch in Gujarat. That moisture is affecting parts of North Gujarat, Rajasthan and Central India. Even now, such weather systems will continue to leave their impact in the country. Weather experts are telling that in the coming days, another strong weather system is coming in the mountainous parts of the country, due to which it is expected that there is a possibility of heavy rains in the mountains, plains and central India of North India. Apart from this, no significant seasonal movement is visible in the southern part of the country. There is no other weather system in the country.


Rain in Himachal:

It is generally believed that where the strongest weather system is, rain will also occur there. Obviously, right now the most such weather system is visible in North India and in the plains. It is also a bit strange because it often does not rain so much in the winter season and there is no possibility of it happening. According to the Meteorological Department, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir, etc. receive such rain even during winter, but this time its continuity is more.

In these three plains of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, along with the capital Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh, clouds will remain present. It is likely that on January 06, there will be rain at places like Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Faridkot, Ludhiana, Patiala, Ferozepur, Bathinda etc.

After 24 hours, rain is likely to increase in many parts of Madhya Pradesh as well. Weather will remain dry over Maharashtra, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Aman Diu, Goa. The same situation will be seen in Odisha Chhattisgarh also. Similarly, weather will remain dry in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala. Cloudy effect will prevail in some areas of Tamil Nadu.
