Weather Update: Heavy Rain alert in Delhi-NCR & UP-Bihar

New Delhi: In many states, where life is disturbed due to heavy rains, while in many states the situation is worse due to floods. According to the Meteorological Department, people of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan can now get relief from heavy rains.

Rain Alert in Delhi-NCR:

The low pressure area over North Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas is now gradually weakening. On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana for the next three days.

The Meteorological Department has said that from August 10, there will be an increase in rain activities in Uttarakhand, North Uttar Pradesh and the eastern part of the country. Rains will continue over West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan for the next two days. After this the monsoon will start weakening here. By the way, widespread rain is forecast in these areas on 8 August.


Monsoon 2021:

According to Skymet Weather today i.e. on Sunday, light to moderate rain in parts of West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, parts of Uttarakhand, Kerala and parts of East Uttar Pradesh. Light to moderate rain with one or two places may occur.


Lightweight over Northeast India, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, parts of Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, western parts of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, parts of Haryana, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, and parts of Telangana Moderate rain may occur. Light rain is possible over Delhi, South Gujarat, Interior Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department has said that Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, northern parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim will receive widespread rainfall from August 10. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely over East Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim on August 10 and 11.
