Weather Update: IMD issues Heavy Rain Alert in UP, Himachal, Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: After Cyclone Tauktae, western disturbances are now active again across the country. Due to this, rain and thunderstorm are expected in many states of the country.

Heavy rain in UP, Delhi-NCR:

It can be seen in many states of the country including UP, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh. Rain and hail warnings have been issued in 10 districts of Himachal Pradesh, while there are chances of heavy rains in the mountains while snowfall has been forecast in the high Himalayas.

Rain due to cyclone:

Tauktae, which lifted from the Arabian Sea, has weakened further on Tuesday night. Due to the cyclonic storm, moderate to heavy rains will occur over East and West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan and Delhi-NCR.

Some areas of Delhi are expected to receive heavy rains. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday that there has been rain in southern Rajasthan as the tauktae moves towards north India.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), it will reach parts of Rajasthan and Haryana on Wednesday. Due to this, there will be moderate rainfall in eastern and western Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan and Delhi-NCR. There is a possibility of heavy rains in some areas of Delhi.

IMD issues alert:

IMD has issued a warning regarding several places in Delhi-NCR and UP. During this period, strong rains and winds at speeds of 50-60 kilometers per hour have been predicted. Western disturbances also have an effect in North India.

In Delhi-NCR, there will be rains in Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ballabgarh, Noida), Panipat, Gannaur, Sonipat, Gohana, Bahjoi, Sahaswan, Narora, Debai, Anoopshahar, Jahangirabad, Bulandshahar, Galauti, Shikohabad, Firozabad, Tundla.
