New Delhi: Nainital district has been affected the most in the disaster on Monday and Tuesday. Houses have been damaged in many places and some casualties have also been reported. People are stuck at many places due to road closure. At the same time, today Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is also going to conduct an aerial survey of the disaster affected areas.

Heavy rain in Nainital:

The Nainital-Kaladhungi road, which was disrupted on Tuesday due to heavy rains, has been opened for traffic on Wednesday. DGP Ashok Kumar has given this information to news agency. At the same time, Haldwani Highway near Mud House has also been opened for traffic.

Chardham Yatra has become smooth again. The journey picked up pace as the weather normalised. Kedarnath Dham Yatra has also started from Wednesday. However, due to the closure of Badrinath Highway, the Badrinath Yatra could not start at present. Yamunotri-Gangotri Dham Yatra has started from Tuesday. Please tell that the Chardham Yatra was stopped due to bad weather.

On Wednesday, the weather remained clear in most areas including the capital Dehradun. Due to this people have breathed a sigh of relief. According to Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, the effect of western disturbances and southeast winds is now negligible. Its effect was only for 48 hours in the plains and mountainous areas of Uttarakhand. The maximum temperature on Wednesday will be 31 degrees.

Rain in Uttarakhand:

Today on Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will conduct an aerial survey of the disaster-affected areas. Earlier on Wednesday, Chief Minister Dhami listened to the problems of the people at Kathgodam Circuit House in Haldwani.

The Chief Minister took stock of the damage caused by waterlogging in Rudrapur area on Tuesday evening. He also announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the disaster.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will reach Uttarakhand on Wednesday evening. He will hold a review meeting regarding the disaster here and take stock of the situation. Home Minister Amit Shah will conduct an aerial survey of the disaster-affected areas in Uttarakhand on Thursday.
