Weather Today: Light Rain & Snowfall in Kashmir, Ladakh, Cold winds in UP

There has been a slight decrease in the speed of the winds blowing from the hilly states. The effect of a weather system formed over Bangladesh is not much, but due to this, the effect of cloud will be seen in the northeastern states on Thursday as well. At present, there is no active weather system over the southern states.

Rain in Vishno Devi:

On December 23, of the weather living in the mountainous and plains of North India. So today, there are chances of rain or snowfall in some areas including Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gulmarg, Kulgam, Pahalgam. Whereas, there is no chance of rain and snowfall in the lower parts i.e. Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Katra, Samba etc. on 23rd December.

The effect of clouds can definitely be seen. It may rain in the higher reaches of Vaishno Devi. The weather over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Ladakh will be mainly clear and dry on Thursday.

Cold winds in MP:

According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of cold winds will remain in Sagar, Satna, Panna, Tikamgarh, Gwalior, Vidisha etc. from west to east in Madhya Pradesh in central India. It is being told in the weather forecast that in the coming 24 hours, cold wave and severe cold will be felt in the areas of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
