According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), scattered or moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places over Maharashtra, parts of Vidarbha, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Marathwada on Thursday. There is also a possibility of strong winds and hail fall during this time. Apart from this, light to moderate rain and thundershowers have been said in Gujarat region, Kerala, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka within the next 24 hours.

At the same time, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in the hill states of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad due to the arrival of Western Disturbance. Not only this, if you live in Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Jammu and Kashmir, then be prepared for light rain and snowfall today, the Meteorological Department has informed. It has also been said that in the coming time, the effect of heat will start in Gujarat and the mercury can reach 40 degree Celsius.

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers very likely over Kerala and Mahe during next 2 to 3 days. Apart from this, rain may occur over Coastal and South Interior Karnataka. On Friday, there may be scattered rain in states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
