Weather Today: IMD has issued a heat wave warning and 'yellow alert' in parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Thane.

Weather Forecast: Weather patterns are changing rapidly in the country. Winters are almost over. Due to clear skies and dry weather, where it is sunny during the day, the mercury is falling in the night. Therefore, the difference between day and night temperatures has increased in many parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), people are sweating in many states and some places are living under heat wave conditions.

Weather Today:

According to the Meteorological Department, the national capital Delhi was the hottest day of this season on Monday.The maximum temperature recorded here was 33 degree Celsius. According to IMD, 'Delhi's temperature will go up to 37 degree Celsius till Holi. However, there will be some change in the situation due to the wind blowing from the mountains. Today, on March 15, the temperature of Delhi will increase. The minimum temperature will go up to 17 degrees and the maximum temperature will go up to 34 degrees. The maximum temperature here is forecast to be 35 degree Celsius on Wednesday. However, strong winds are likely in the capital on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Yellow alert in Mumbai:

At the same time, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat wave warning and 'yellow alert' in parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Thane, North Konkan and Raigad for Tuesday and Wednesday. The temperature in these areas is likely to reach 39 degree Celsius in the next few days. Whereas, the process of Western Disturbance is continuing over the mountains of North India, although their path has changed slightly.

On March 15, there is a possibility of rain in Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Clouds will also remain over Kashmir and Ladakh. The weather will remain completely clear and dry over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. With the rise in temperature in Himachal, people have started feeling the heat.

Heat wave conditions are brewing in many areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat. The maximum places in Gujarat are between 35 and 40 degrees.
