Weather Forecast: Heavy rain in Karnataka-Tamil Nadu, IMD issues Red Alert in Kerala

It is expected to start raining in the next two to four hours. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain due to cyclonic activities in the southwest of the Bay of Bengal adjoining Tamil Nadu. In view of this, red alert is going on in Kerala as well as orange alert has been issued in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka as well.

Chance of rain in Kerala:

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in the southern state of Kerala on Tuesday. In view of this, a red and orange alert has been issued there. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in the hilly district of Idukki in Kerala on Tuesday. In view of the possibility of heavy rains in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Palakkad and Malappuram districts, an orange alert has been issued.

Rain in Delhi-NCR:

The Meteorological Department has tweeted this morning and said, 'Rain in Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Barwala, Jind, Hisar, Hansi, Saharanpur, Rampur, Sambhal, Chandausi of Haryana also gives relief to the people.

At the same time, the Indian Meteorological Department says that this rain may also have an effect in Delhi NCR. The Indian Meteorological Department has said in its bulletin that it will rain on Tuesday, but only in one or two areas on Wednesday.

Flood-like situation in Bihar:

There is a possibility of rain in Bihar-Jharkhand also. In many districts including Patna, Nalanda, Nawada, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Katihar, Purnia, there is a flood situation due to heavy rains.

Recently, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited the flood affected areas in Nalanda and listened to the problems of the people and appealed to the officials to provide all possible help with immediate effect. In Jharkhand too, due to rain for many days, life has been disturbed. Due to the rain, it has become difficult for people to even leave their homes.
