New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday heard the case related to the supply of oxygen by the Center to various hospitals in Delhi. During this time, the court said that the Center should tell the Supreme Court how it will give oxygen to the hospitals in Delhi.

On this, Solicitor-General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court that at present, there is a significant amount of oxygen reserves in Delhi's hospitals. SG said that states like Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are also demanding more oxygen to meet the demands of their hospital.

During the hearing, the Center presented its detailed plan to the Supreme Court on the purchase and supply of oxygen to various states. Justice DY Chandrachud said that the Center will have to look into the issue of oxygen supply on the basis of the entire country. The judge said that oxygen audit also needs to be looked into.

Fear of Corona third wave:

The Supreme Court has made it clear that the central government should ensure that there is no panic about oxygen in Delhi amid fears of a third wave of Corona. Justice Chandrachud said that you have to give 700 MT of oxygen in Delhi. At the moment our health workers are completely tired. How will you ensure better healthcare?

Justice Chandrachud said that according to experts, the third wave of corona in India will affect children. When the child goes to covid Hospital, the mother and father will also go. That is why vaccination has to be done for the people of this group. We need to plan for this in a scientific manner and should make arrangements in this way.

Let us know that in the last one day, 4 lakh 12 thousand 262 positive cases have come up across the country, while 3,980 people have lost their lives. This is the second time that more than 4 lakh cases of corona have been reported in a single day. Earlier, on April 30, 4 lakh 2 thousand 14 cases were reported. On that day, 3525 patients died.
