Youth is at centre of all policies being framed by government: PM Modi

The PM gave digital certificates to the winners of the Prime Minister's National Children's Award using blockchain technology.

New Delhi: PM Modi today interacted with the Prime Minister's National Children's Award (PMRBP) winners through video conferencing. The children attended the program from their district headquarters along with their parents and the concerned district magistrate. The PM gave digital certificates to the winners of the Prime Minister's National Children's Award using blockchain technology.

61 children from across the country were selected for these awards. In this, 32 children were selected for last year and 29 children were selected for PMRBP 2022 this year. During this, the PM was stunned to see the talent of the children and he also asked questions to the children.

Ramona Perera of Karnataka has been honored with this prestigious award. PM Modi asked him how he got interested in dance. On this, Ramona told that the mother took a lot of problems and inspired her to move forward. Ramona's father is not in this world. While saluting Ramona's mother, PM Modi said that 'You perform programs on broken glass, you perform programs on fire. I am scared to hear, how do you do it?' Ramona told that first the mother danced and then taught them.

Dheeraj Kumar of Bihar has received the National Children's Award in the category of 'Gallantry'. In a conversation with PM Modi, Dheeraj told that he had gone to bathe the buffalo when the crocodile caught the brother. Dheeraj saved his brother from the clutches of a crocodile, not caring about his life here. On this PM Modi asked who is your favorite superhero. Dheeraj did not take anyone's name on this. After this, the PM said that when children like you save someone's life in such incidents by using all your inner strength, then they become an inspiration for others.

Puhabi Chakraborty, who hails from Tripura, also participated in this program. Puhabi is an innovator. She told PM Modi that he has made a spirometer to help in monitoring covid-19. Apart from this, Puhabi has created an app that helps athletes.
