New Delhi: Trinamool Congress (TMC) members held protest outside the Parliament against the note ban issue on Monday. The Opposition parties have united for protest outside Parliament over the complications faced by the people after the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes, said MPs Derek O’Brien and Sudip Bandyopadhyay who were among the protesters.

The Congress and other opposition parties also decided to stage demonstration in front of the Gandhi Statue in the Parliament premises on Wednesday. The party sources said, "Congress hosted a meeting this morning of opposition parties to encourage a united onslaught over the issue and decided to hold a protest within the parliament compound on Wednesday."
