There will be heavy rain in South India, cold wave will last for 36 hours in North India

The Meteorological Department has said that in the next 36 hours there will be light to moderate rain in the coastal areas of Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.

The havoc of fog will continue with the severity of winter. The shivering cold wave will also continue in the next 24 hours. The day will be cold in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana. The effect of fog will be seen in the early morning from 11 to 15 January in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura.

The Meteorological Department has said that in the next 36 hours there will be light to moderate rain in the coastal areas of Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. There will be sporadic rain in Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Maharashtra. At present a cyclone is forming in the coastal area of Kerala and the eastern equatorial Indian Ocean.

The Himalayas are waiting for snowfall amid fluctuations in weather patterns. From Gulmarg to Shimla everyone is waiting for snow. Light snow has fallen in Kufri on Tuesday but the hills of Kedarnath are still empty.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. Road traffic, trains and airlines are being affected due to fog. Due to dense fog, domestic and international flights are getting delayed while more than 125 trains are running late by 2-10 hours.
