Temperature reaches 45 degrees in Odisha as heatwave conditions prevail in country

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave alert for four states of the country including Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal today i.e. 21st April. The temperature in these states crossed 42 degrees on Saturday. Also, temperatures around 42 degrees were recorded in Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

On the other hand, in some districts of Odisha, the temperature has reached close to 45 degrees. The temperature was recorded at 45.2 degrees in Baripada district on Saturday. According to meteorologists, similar conditions will prevail here for 3-4 days.

The period of rising temperature has also started in the capital Delhi. The temperature here today is expected to reach around 38 degrees. It has also predicted that winds can blow at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour. However, there is no heat wave alert today.

Along with the heat wave in the country, rain has also been predicted in 26 states that are Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala. , Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

IMD said that this time the monsoon will be better than normal from June to September. The Meteorological Department (IMD) considers rainfall between 104 to 110 percent as better than normal. This is a good sign for the crops.
