Survey: 70 per cent Indians want to bring Modi back to power as PM

New Delhi: Result of an online survey on Friday revealed that 70 per cent of Indians – mostly youths – wish to see Narendra Modi being re-elected as the country’s premier in 2019. The poll was conducted by news application Inshorts in collaboration with Ipsos,a marketing agency.

“Out of 63,141 subscribers responding to question whether they wanted to bring Modi back to power as the country’s Premier, 70 per cent said YES, 17 per cent voted NO while the rest 13 per cent remained undecided,” said an staffer of the news app.

It may be mentioned that the survey was conducted between July 25 and August 7 and more than 80 per cent of its respondents were under the age of 35 years.

“We are glad to validate the methodology and execution of the survey by providing an understanding of the young urban India’s outlook,” said Inshorts’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder Azhar Iqbal.
