Snowfall in Himachal-Uttarakhand, J&K; Rain alert in Delhi and UP

In Delhi, rain has been predicted on 3rd and 4th February amid cold winds. Rain alert has also been given in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab and Haryana on Saturday. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some areas of Rajasthan.

Cold, fog, snowfall and rain continue in the northern states of the country. There will be heavy snowfall in Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir for the next two days. There is an alert of snowfall (Weather Update) in Himachal Pradesh for the next three days.

In Delhi, rain has been predicted on 3rd and 4th February amid cold winds. Rain alert has also been given in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab and Haryana on Saturday. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some areas of Rajasthan.

The Meteorological Department (IMD Forecast) said that till February 3, there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in the morning in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar. Due to Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till February 5, 2024.

Rain coupled with strong winds had increased the cold in Delhi. But on Friday afternoon, there was a lot of relief from the cold and the sun was also visible. But according to IMD, the rain is going to continue in the capital. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain in Delhi on 3 and 4 February. On February 3, the sky will generally be cloudy and there will be light rain or drizzle. The temperature will also remain low.

According to IMD's update, the minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 7 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The maximum temperature will also be 21 degrees Celsius. However, an increase in temperature may be seen on February 4. On Sunday, Delhi will be generally cloudy and there will be moderate fog in the morning. There will be light rain and thundershowers with strong winds.
