Schools that have been closed for a long time due to the corona virus pandemic are now reopening. From Monday, September 21, schools across the country have been allowed to reopen. From Monday, after March 23, children will now go to school after about 5 months.

A guideline has also been released by the Union Health Ministry in this regard. These guidelines have to be followed by the students, schools and teachers.

Guideline issued by Health Ministry:

Special care has to be taken of social distancing between students and teachers and staff in schools.

The seating arrangement will be changed in class. Each student will sit six feet away. Therefore the distance of the chair-table should be 6 feet.

Social distancing will have to be taken during other important activities in the class.

It will be compulsory for students and teachers to wear masks during schooling.

No exchange of notebooks, stationery:

Morning assembly in schools will not be allowed.

Students will not be able to share anything among themselves.

According to the new rule, not all will be immediately returned to the premises.

Students will not be allowed to share laptops, notebooks, stationery among themselves.

The labs will be open in colleges.

Trainees will use equipment from a distance of six feet.

Swimming pools in colleges and schools will remain closed.

School only for those who can't access internet:

Currently students from 9th to 12th grade are given the option to go to school. However, they can also study in offline classes if they wish.

Schools will open only to students who do not have access to online education or have any other problems.

Permission to open schools and colleges outside the Containment Zone.

Complete sanitization has to be done before opening the school.

9th to 12th schools to open:

Preparations are also going on to open schools across the country from 9th to 12th. Preparations have been started to open schools in many states. Preparations have been made to open schools in Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Karnataka and Delhi. While the UP government says that the possibility of opening of schools from Monday is very less.
