Asking the petitioner to approach the Allahabad High Court as matter was related to Uttar Pradesh, the bench of Chief Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar and Justice D.Y.Chandrachud referred to the media reports about Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other Union and Uttar Pradesh Ministers including officials visiting the hospital after the tragedy.

Observing that state officials were looking into the situation and attending to the complaints, the bench said that if still something was left unattended, then the petitioner can move Allahabad High Court.

Over 60 children lost their lives in the hospital and many of them had died reportedly due to disruption of oxygen supply.
