Sasikala would not let Panneerselvam work properly, claims Swamy

New Delhi: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday said AIADMK newly-elected Chief Minister O Panneerselvam would not be able to function properly as Jayalalithaa’s close confidante Sasikala Natarajan would not let him run government suitably.

Swamy further stated that the same will ignite spat inside the party.

"AIADMK will not survive as a single entity. Sasikala Natarajan will be the head of the organisation and will not give Panneerselvam a free hand. She will ultimately find somebody from the family for the post," claims Swamy to a leading news channel.

Subramanian, who first met Amma in 1982, said that latter wanted him to become the President of India.
