Sakshi Malik pins down Haryana government for not keeping its promise

Chandigarh: Rio Olympics Medallist Sakshi Malik, embarrassed Haryana government for not fulfilling the promises it made after the former created history at the Rio games last year.

Sakshi, who has yet not received the incentives promised by the CM Manohar Lal Khattar, on Saturday, posted a tweet, "Medal ka vada maine pura kiya, Haryana sarkar apna vada kab pura karegi? (I fulfilled my promise of winning an Olympic medal, when will Haryana government fulfill its promise?)."

It could be mentioned that, Haryana government had announced to give the cash reward of Rs 3.5 crore to wrestler Sakshi Malik after she bagged the bronze medal at the Rio Olympics and became the first Indian woman wrestler to win the Olympic medal.
