New Delhi: The nation has bundle of question about the new tax regime, implemented in the country since July 1, while the Centre is dedicatedly trying to sort out the confusions and prove this step as a revolutionary one in the history of the Indian economy.

The Union ministers are trying their very best to aware people about the benefits and myths about the Goods and Services Tax (GST). In a bid to dismiss all the common myths about GST, Revenue Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Hasmukh Adhia took to his twitter account and shared all the reality behind the prevailing rumours.

Adhia not only shared the facts regarding the new tax regime but also answered queries that were addressed to him on this social media handle.

One of the tweets also mentioned the rumours doing rounds about the payment of utility bills through credit cards. According to the social media reports being circulated, " if u make payment of utility bills by credit cards,you will be paying GST twice."

Denying any such report, the revenue secretary tweeted, "This is completely untrue. Please do not recirculate such message without checking it with authority."
