Rekha grabs eyeballs at VP elections; Here is the evidence

New Delhi: She does it so gracefully always and Saturday last was no different for veteran Bollywood actress and Rajya Sabha member, Rekha, who was the centre of attraction at the House during the Vice Presidential elections.

But what has sent the social media on a spree is a picture where other MPs, including Rajiv Shukla who is also IPL Chairman, were captured staring at Rekha while she walks on after casting her vote.

The photograph that has gone viral on social networking sites shows the Bollywood actress donning an elegant pastel coloured saree and a number of dignitaries staring at her.

There might be numerous jokes being made regarding the picture, however, the real reason behind it was the embroidered motifs on her saree.

The embroidered design on Rekha’s saree looked a lot like the lotus flower and that was of course the electoral symbol of the BJP.

The Congress nominated RS member although did not let anyone know who she voted for. No one knows where her allegiance lies.

It is to be mentioned that Rekha was nominated by the Congress to the Rajya Sabha in 2012.
