Rajiv Gandhi served the nation as the Sixth Prime Minister between 1984 and 1989 after the assassination of her mother Indira Gandhi.
Rajiv , also a Bharat Ratna awardee, was killed in a Suicide bombing attack on May 21, 1991 in Tamil Nadu.
