Nagaland-cadre IAS Rajiv Bansal to be the new Air India CMD
New Delhi: The government on Wednesday appointed IAS officer Rajiv Bansal as the new Chairman and Managing Director of national passenger carrier Air India.
Bansal holds the position of Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser at Ministry of petroleum.
Bansal's appointment comes after Ashwani Lohani was appointed as the Chairman of Railway Board, replacing AK Mittal.
