Rajasthan to create record for making World’s biggest ‘Roti’

In Bhilwara, this roti will be made in the presence of Mahamandaleshwar Sant Hansram of Harisewa Dham. Rajasthani Janmanch President Kailash Soni said that preparations have started for the event. A team of about 50 workers is busy in preparations. 151 kg flour will be required for roti.

The history of making the world's largest roti will be created in Rajasthan on 8th October. The weight of the roti will be around 151 kg. 12 trained confectioners from Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra have been called to make it. The pan for this will also weigh one thousand kilograms. At the same time, the cylinder will be of 20 feet long iron pipe.

Earlier, Jamnagar (Gujarat) had the record of making 145 kg roti in the Guinness World Records. Now a bigger roti will be made in Bhilwara district. Preparations for making stove and pan for making roti were started from Friday.

In Bhilwara, this roti will be made in the presence of Mahamandaleshwar Sant Hansram of Harisewa Dham. Rajasthani Janmanch President Kailash Soni said that preparations have started for the event. A team of about 50 workers is busy in preparations. 151 kg flour will be required for roti.

Rajasthani Janmanch President Kailash Soni said that roti is being made as Prasad for more than a thousand people. Panchkute vegetable will be served with roti.

It will take 4 hours to bake the bread

To make roti, a 12x16 stove has been prepared with a base of one thousand bricks. The lowest space in the stove has been kept empty. An iron mesh has been installed in it. Grass and coal will be put on the iron grate. The iron pan will be set on it. Before making roti, coals will be prepared by lighting a fire from the bottom of the stove. After this, the pan will be cooled and roti flour will be added to it and shaped with a rolling pin. Then that roti will be cooked on low flame of coal. This entire process will take more than 4 hours.

Preparations are being done to make roti

An earthen stove has been prepared with the help of 1 thousand bricks.

An iron pan weighing 1 thousand kilograms has been prepared for baking bread.

A 20 feet long iron cylinder is being prepared to roll the 11x11 roti.

11 confectioners from three states (Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra) will prepare the roti.

151 kg flour will be used to make the roti.

800 kg of coal has been ordered to bake the bread.
