New Delhi: Ahead of the no-confidence motion against his government moved by the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday hoped that MPs will rise to the occasion and ensure a constructive debate. On Friday Rahul Gandhi went on PM Modi's seat and he Rahul Gandhi hugs Modi and later winks in Lok Sabha

"We owe this to the people and the makers of our Constitution. India will be watching us closely," Modi said ahead of the no trust vote in the House.

The opposition-sponsored move came during the opening day of the monsoon session.

The government has expressed confidence of defeating the motion.

  • Shiv Sena would not participate in voting in Lok Sabha.

Here is what BJP MP Rakesh Singh stated:

  • Singh concluded his speech with a shayari.
  • Uproar in Lok sabha as the BJP MP Rakesh Singh speaks.
  • BJP and NDA government will retain power in 2019, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  • Manmohan Singh had said that minorities have the first right on country's resources. However, Prime Minister Modi gave new direction by saying that first right on country's resources is of the poor.
  • Congress has done the politics of Corruption since 48 years.
  • The entire country has seen Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy crying. We all heard what said about swallowing poison after standing with the Congress.
  • TDP's motion cannot be called a no-confidence motion. There is no reason for it.

  • We see, dailts, minorities, backward class people are beaten, thrashed, killed but prime Minister opt to be quote. Why don't he speak against it?
  • The prime minister and the president of the BJP can simply not afford to lose power. The moment they lose power, other processes will start against them. Hence, there is fear, there is anger. This anger is being passed onto the country.
