New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has questioned the PM Care Fund (PMCares) amid growing cases of corona infection. He said that the government is pretending to be a 'Teeka Utsav'.

Rahul Gandhi questions PMCares Fund:

Rahul alleged that there is no bed, testing, hospital among the increasing cases.

The MP from Wayanad in Kerala said in a tweet- 'There are no tests, no hospital beds, no ventilators, no oxygen, no vaccine, just a celebration pretense. PMCares?'

Over 2 lakh cases in a day:

On Thursday, 2,00,739 new cases of covid-19 occurred in the country, after which the total number of infected people reached 1,40,74,564 while the death toll reached 1,73,123 due to 1,038 deaths due to the pandemic.

The Union Health Ministry said that 14,71,877 patients have been infected with covid-19 in the country while 1,24,29,564 people have recovered from the disease.

Earlier, criticizing the central government on how to deal with the Corona virus pandemic, CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury on Wednesday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is responsible for the condition of the people and cannot run away from 'democratic accountability'.

Referring to the rapid increase in the number of cases of covid-19 in the country, Yechury claimed that there has been a huge increase in BJP-ruled states.

The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Marxist tweeted, 'PM Cares is a private fund. The plight caused by the epidemic is well known. In the BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, the administration has collapsed, about which the acceptance of the ministers and MPs has come.

The news and pictures in the media show the truth, which no kind of PR (public relations or publicity) can hide. Those who are about to vote can see the truth of the BJP's rule, which no propaganda of Modi / Shah (Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah) can cover.
