Mumbai court issues non-bailable warrants against Nirav, Choksi

New Delhi: The passports of billionaire diamond merchant Nirav Modi and his business partner Mehul Choksi have been revoked.

The step was taken following their no respond on Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)'s show cause notice.

Gitanjali Gems Chairman and Managing Director Mehul Choksi and his nephew, famous jeweller Nirav Modi, are the key accused of the Rs 11,300-crore Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud case.

Earlier in the day, the Enforcement Directorate (ED said it has attached diamond trader Nirav Modi’s 21 immovable properties worth Rs 523.72 crore in connection with an ongoing probe.
