Startups dedicated to music should be readied in the country: PM Modi

New Delhi: At the launch of Pandit Jasraj Cultural Foundation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the primary objective of Pandit Jasraj Cultural Foundation would be to protect and develop and promote India's national heritage of art and culture. He said, 'I am happy to know that this foundation will support budding artists and will make efforts to become financially viable.'

Prime Minister Modi said, 'Music is a very mysterious subject. I am not very knowledgeable about it, but the extensive knowledge that our sages have given about voice and sound is amazing. PM Modi said, 'I am happy that all of you are taking forward his classical legacy. Today is also the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Pandit Jasraj ji. I congratulate all of you for this innovative work of establishing Pandit Jasraj Cultural Foundation on this day.

What PM said?

PM Modi further said, 'When the impact of technology is in every field, then there should be a revolution of technology and IT in the field of music too. Create startups in India that are completely dedicated to music, based on Indian musical instruments and based on Indian musical traditions.

PM Modi said, 'Today we are renaissance of our art and culture centers like Kashi. The faith we have had for environmental protection and love for nature. Today India is showing the world the way to a secure future through it.

The Prime Minister said, 'Music is such a medium which also makes us aware of worldly duties and also frees us from worldly attachments. The specialty of music is that even if you cannot touch it, but it resonates till infinity. He said, 'Today is also a virtuous occasion of the birth anniversary of Pandit Jasraj ji. On this day, I congratulate all of you for this innovative work of establishing Pandit Jasraj Cultural Foundation. Especially I wish Durga Jasraj ji and Pandit Sarangdev ji. This is the responsibility of all of us.
