New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has suddenly reached Leh today amidst continuous tension from China on the border. PM Narendra Modi is talking to the soldiers by reaching here. Earlier, Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat was reported to be coming for this tour.

PM Modi reaches Leh with Bipin Rawat:

It was a surprise visit of PM for soldiers. According to the latest information, during his visit, PM Modi will talk to 14 Corps officers. Along with this, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat will take stock of the situation on the border. Apart from this, Lieutenant General YK Joshi of Northern Army Command, Lieutenant General Harinder Singh will also be present in Leh.

Stress with China has continued on the eastern Ladakh border since May and the situation on the border is becoming increasingly critical. In such a situation, PM Modi's arrival here suddenly is quite surprising.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh's Plan cancelled:

Earlier on Friday, only Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was to go to Leh. On Thursday the main program postponed. After this it was planned that now only Bipin Rawat will go to Leh.

''Interacting with our brave armed forces personnel at Nimu," PM Narendra Modi posted, sharing a photo on his Instagram account.

Significantly, tensions have increased considerably due to violent clashes between India and China on the eastern Ladakh border on June 15-16. At the same time, 20 soldiers of the Indian Army were martyred in this bloody skirmish.
