New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Circuit House near the Somnath temple in Gujarat on Friday. In this program through video conferencing, PM Modi said that in the worship of Lord Somnath, it has been said in our scriptures – Bhaktipradaya Kritavataram Tan Somnatham Sharanam Prapadye.

That is, the grace of Lord Somnath is incarnated, the reserves of grace are opened. The circumstances in which the Somnath temple was destroyed and then the circumstances in which the temple was renovated by the efforts of Sardar Patel, both are a big message for us.

PM Modi said that every year about 1 crore devotees come from different states, from different corners of the country and the world to visit the Somnath temple. When these devotees go back from here, they take with them many new experiences, many new ideas and a new thinking.

In the last 7 years, the country has worked relentlessly to realize the potential of tourism. The development of tourist centres is not just a part of a government scheme, but a campaign of public participation said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to the information given by the PMO office, the circuit house has been completed for Rs 30 crore. This circuit house has been equipped with modern facilities. VIP and deluxe rooms are also available here. There is also a conference and auditorium hall.

This circuit house has been designed in such a way that every room in it has been kept sea facing. That is, the sea is visible from all the rooms. It was told by the PMO office that no government facility was available around the Somnath temple. In this case, this circuit house will fulfill all the requirements.
