New Delhi: In his address to the nation, PM Narendra Modi announced the withdrawal of all three agriculture law bills. He said that the process of withdrawing these laws would start in the session of Parliament.

PM Modi repeals 3 Farm Laws:

Apologizing to the countrymen, I want to say with a sincere heart that our efforts must have been lacking that we could not convince them. Today is the holy festival of light of Guru Nanak.Today I have come to tell you that we have decided to withdraw three agriculture laws. Parliament will start the process of withdrawing all the three agricultural laws in the session beginning later this month.

I appeal to the farmers to return to their homes, return to the fields. We made the crop insurance scheme more effective, brought more farmers under its purview. Change the old rules so that farmers can get more compensation. Due to this, in the last four years, more than one lakh crore compensation has been received by the farmer brothers.

PM urges Farmers to leave protest:

Steps were taken to ensure that the farmers get the right payment for their produce. We increased the MSP as well as created record government centers. The purchases made by our government broke many records. We gave farmers a platform to sell their produce anywhere.

Let us tell you that all the three agricultural laws were passed last year. Since then, there was resentment among the farmers about these laws, demanding the return of which the farmers have been agitating for the last one year. But after this announcement of the Modi government, it is considered a big victory for the farmers and now the movement may end soon.
