PM Modi lays foundation stone of Tukaram Maharaj road projects in Pandharpur

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone for four laning of five sections of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palki Marg (NH-965) and three sections of Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palki Marg (NH-965G).

During his address, the PM said, "Today, about two hundred and two hundred kilometer long national highway connecting Pandharpur has also been inaugurated. About 1,200 crore rupees have been spent in its construction. These highways are dedicated to the service of the devotees of Lord Vitthal. Together this will become a path for the development of this entire holy area.

Referring to the history of saints in India, the PM said, "How many attacks have happened on our India in the past, this country was caught in slavery of hundreds of years, natural calamities came, challenges-difficulties came, but in Lord Vitthal we have The faith continued unabated."

Modi further said, "Lord Vitthal's court is equally open to everyone. When I say Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas-Sabka Vishwas, it is the same sentiment behind it. This is the spirit we need for the development of the country." Inspires, takes everyone along, inspires for everyone's development."

"This is the land where the Lord resides for the devotees even today. Here Sant Ramdev Ji Maharaj has said that Pandharpur is there since the world was not created. Because Pandharpur is not only physically but emotionally. is also present in our minds."
