PM Modi gifts projects worth Rs 56,000 crore in Adilabad, Telangana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Telangana on March 4 and 5. During this period, PM Modi will gift many development projects to Telangana. Along with attending many programs, he will also address two public meetings. At a public event in Adilabad, Telangana, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated, dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of several developmental projects related to power, rail and road sectors worth more than Rs 56,000 crore.

PM Modi today laid the foundation stone and inaugurate various projects worth Rs 30,023 crore of public sector power company NTPC. According to NTPC, these projects mark an important step towards sustainable development and economic growth. PM Modi will dedicate to the nation Unit-II (800 MW) of NTPC's Telangana State-of-the-Art Thermal Power Project (Phase-1) located in Peddapalli district of Telangana. This project with a total investment of Rs 8,007 crore uses state-of-the-art technology, which will reduce carbon emissions.

Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi will also dedicate to the country Unit-2 (660 MW) of North Karanpura state-of-the-art power project (three times 600 MW) located in Jharkhand. This project, with a total investment of Rs 4,609 crore, is equipped with air-conditioned condenser technology, which significantly reduces water consumption. On this occasion, Modi will lay the foundation stone of Singrauli State-of-the-art Thermal Power Project Phase-3 (2x800 MW) developed in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. Its total cost is Rs 17,000 crore. This project will symbolize India's progress towards environmental sustainability and technological innovation.

PM Modi will also inaugurate a fly ash based plant established with an investment of Rs 51 crore at Sipat Modern Thermal Power Station in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The Prime Minister will also dedicate to the country the green hydrogen plant built with an investment of Rs 10 crore in Greater Noida.
