Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Ram Gopal Yadav on Wednesday said the condition of common man was not better than a beggar owing to demonetisation.

According to the SP leader, many people have been losing their lives being affected by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s effort to capture black money.

“I request the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to have a look at the commoners in cities and villages standing in bank queues for hours, restlessly. They are the ones seem to be suffering the most rather than any black money holder. They are not in a better condition than a scrounger,” said Yadav.

What else Ram Gopal Yadav said:

  • The BJP lawmakers were tweeting pictures of 2000 rupee notes days before the Premiere’s announcement.
  • The conditions were even better at the time of emergency.
  • Cash ban has hit the peasants and farmers hard.
  • I want to ask the PM is it fair to make the guiltless people suffer the most?
