New Delhi: In a befitting reply to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Paytm head honcho Vijay Shekhar said that the people of the country would be benefited the most with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation act.

Shekhar slammed the Delhi CM after he had raised questions over the full page advertisements in Newspapers given by Paytm along with a photo of Modi.

Kejriwal, through couple of tweets, had smelled a nexus between Paytm and Modi behind the scrapping of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.

Kejriwal in his tweet said, "Paytm biggest beneficiary of PM's announcement. Next day PM appears in its ads. Whats the deal, Mr PM?"

Paytm made hefty investments in India in current financial year to persuade more people to go cashless by using its online App to make payments almost everywhere.
