Flights often get delayed owing to a variety of reasons. Sometimes the passengers, who are always in a hurry to reach their destinations, get angry and resort to violence. They often vent their anger on the crew though the delay may be because of reasons beyond their control.

An incident reflecting the rude behavior of the passengers came to light during a flight operated by IndiGo.

A passenger on board an IndiGo flight assaulted the pilot while he was making an announcement regarding the delay. A video of the incident during the fight is now viral on social media.

The shocking incident came to light when a man wearing a yellow hoodie suddenly ran and hit the pilot, who had replaced the previous crew due to flight duty time limitation (FDTL) norms after a delay of several hours.

FDTL, or Flight Duty Time Limitations, are important regulations to ensure the well-being of pilots and flight attendants by mandating adequate rest periods and reducing safety concerns related to fatigue. The responsibility of setting up FDTL falls under the jurisdiction of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). It has not been confirmed yet in which flight this incident took place.

A user, while reacting to the incident wrote on social media that what does the pilots or the crew have to do with delay. They were just doing their duty. He said that this persons should be arrested and put on the no fly list so that people become aware of his bad nature in public." Another user wrote, "This person should be booked for assault and also put on the no fly list. @IndiGo6E is in the news for all the wrong reasons and action should be taken for its shortcomings, but this It is completely unacceptable for any passenger to behave like this,"
