Nuclear weapons would badly affect India’s future generation: Pak

New Delhi: Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif who has warned against war said that use of nuclear weapons would badly affect the future generation.

In an interview to a Pakistani news channel, Khawaja Muhammad Asif said:

  • Tactical weapons joh hain, joh hamne yeh progammes develop kiya hua hai, yeh apne hifazat ke liye develop kiya hua hai. Hamne devices jo hain just as showpieces toh nahin rakhe hue. Lekin agar hamare salamati ko khatra hua, toh hum nestanabhut kar denge unko (We have not developed nuclear weapons for showpiece, we have made them for our protection. If situation like war arises, we will use special weapons against India by which coming generations of India would get affected.
  • As per Quran, ‘The horses must be prepared’, so we are also set for any challenge.
  • If our defence and survival will go in danger, we will not hesitate to use nuclear weapons.
