Nirbhaya's mother expresses her pain, by saying 11 years have passed, but nothing has changed

The mother of 23-year-old paramedical student (Nirbhaya), who had lost her life after the gang rape that took place exactly 11 years ago in the country's capital Delhi, said on Friday that 11 years have passed, but nothing has changed.
She said that with everyone's cooperation she got justice, but many cases are pending in lower courts for 10-12 years.

Nirbhaya's father Badrinath Singh claimed that even now whenever rape incidents occur, no one stands with the victim. We got justice because the whole country was with us. The speedy court helped our daughter get justice.
The victim student who is known as Nirbhaya. Nirbhaya was raped and brutally attacked by six men inside a moving bus in South Delhi before being thrown on the road. He died on 29 December 2012 at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
Of the six accused, Ram Singh allegedly committed suicide in Tihar jail, days after the trial of the case began. Whereas Kishore was released in 2015 after spending three years in the reform home. The other four convicts Mukesh Singh (32), Pawan Gupta (25), Vinay Sharma (26) and Akshay Kumar Singh (31) were hanged in Tihar Jail on March 20, 2020.
