Nirbhaya convicts to be executed soon; Buxar Jail prepares hanging rope!

New Delhi: Long awaited punishment to the four convicts of Delhi's infamous Nirbhaya rape case, is still in the files but recent developments have suggested the execution of the criminals is soon to be awarded.

The 7-year-old Delhi gang-rape and murder case, has now to witness justice and the preparation for the execution of all four convicts is being done by some of the inmates in Bihar's Buxar central jail, as per reports. Not only jail authority has given a directive to prepare 10 hanging ropes but is also said to be looking for a hangman from other states as it doesn't have one of its own.

It is to be mentioned that after police shot all the four accused of Hyderabad gang-rape and murder case, in an encounter, people from every corner of the country came united, protesting against India's slow paced judicial trials and put pressure on the government to award the capital punishment to the Nirbhaya's criminals soon.

In this regard, the recently appeal made by Union Home Ministry to the President Ram Nath Kovind asking him to reject the mercy petition of one of the convicts, Vinay Sharma, triggered theb speculations that the ropes are meant for execution of the four convicts in the case.

Well known for its expertise in preparing hanging ropes, the Buxar central jail had also supplied hanging ropes for the execution of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, who was hanged on February 9, 2013.

These indications surely give-away a hint, suggesting the trial of all four convicts involved in Nirbhaya case are coming closure to meet the justice of a girl who struggled hard for her life after she was brutally raped and her private parts were mutilated in 2012.

The convicts are serving their jail term in 'Tihar'.
