New Delhi: In the battle of numbers in Punjab Congress, newly appointed President Navjot Singh Sidhu is seen winning. About 60 ministers and MLAs reached Sidhu's residence in Amritsar on Wednesday. It is believed that Sidhu has made a big dent in the Amarinder faction.

Navjot Singh Sidhu in Golden Temple:

According to the information received, 60 out of 80 Congress MLAs reached during the program to visit the Golden Temple on the call of Sidhu. Apart from this, many other district presidents, corporation and board chairman were present at Sidhu's house. On the other hand, on Wednesday, at 12:30, he reached Amritsar to bow his head at Shri Harmandir Sahib. Sidhu's visit to Shri Harmandir Sahib became a 'power show' in Congress

It was told that CM Captain Amarinder Singh had made a lot of pressure, despite that MLA and party leader Navjot Singh reached Sidhu's house. Along with this, three cabinet ministers in the Amarinder government also reached the house of the Congress unit president of Punjab.

Sidhu invites MLAs:

According to sources, other cabinet ministers are not attending the Golden Temple program due to pressure from the Captain despite Sidhu's call. On the other hand, to show the power of numbers, Sidhu has brought two Volvo buses to his house. According to sources, Sidhu wants to demonstrate the strength of numbers by making MLAs sit in Volvo buses.

Let us tell you that Sidhu had called the party MLAs for breakfast at his residence in Amritsar. Congress MLA Pargat Singh, on the other hand, said, 'Why should Sidhu apologize (to the CM)? This is not a public issue. CM has not resolved many issues. In such a situation, he should also apologize to the public.
