Union Budget has clear roadmap for saturation coverage of rural roads, housing for all, Jal Jeevan Mission says PM Modi

New Delhi: During the dialogue on the positive impact of the Union Budget 2022-23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that in this budget, the government will take steps to achieve this big goal of saturation. Necessary provision has been made in the budget for PM Awas Yojana, Gramin Sadak Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, connectivity of North East, broadband connectivity of villages, for every such scheme.

Digital connectivity of villages is no longer an aspiration but a need of the day. Broadband connectivity will not only provide facilities in the villages, but it will also help in creating a large pool of skilled youth in the villages. The Prime Minister said that a major basis of the rural economy is our women's power. Financial inclusion has ensured greater participation of women in households in economic decisions. There is a need to further expand the participation of women through self-help groups.

PM Modi said that to achieve 100% target in different schemes, we also have to focus on new technology. So that the projects are also completed faster and there is no compromise with the quality. He said that when the service sector expands with broadband connectivity in the village, the country's potential will increase further. If there are problems in optical fiber connectivity, then we have to identify them and find solutions.

PM Modi said that the policy and action of our government is the fundamental inspiration of our government. The Prime Minister said that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, we have set a target of giving about 4 crore connections. To achieve this goal, you will have to increase your hard work. I also urge every state government that we need to pay a lot of attention to the quality of the pipelines that are being laid, the water that is coming.

PM Modi said that today in most of the states of India, there is a need to emphasize on the outcome more than the output. Today, a lot of money goes to the village, if that money is used at the right time, then the situation of the villages can change. In the last 7 years, we have been making continuous efforts to enhance the capabilities of every citizen and every sector.
