More than 50,000 new corona cases, Tally tops 18.5 lakh in India

New Delhi: Corona virus cases in India are steadily increasing. According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, 52,050 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 803 people have died. Maximum six lakh 61 thousand 715 sample tests have been conducted during this period.

More than 50 thousand cases of corona have been reported for the sixth consecutive day. So far, 18 lakh 55 thousand 746 cases have been reported in the country.

Over 13 lakh people recovered:

There are five lakh 86 thousand 298 active cases. At the same time, 12 lakh 30 thousand 510 patients have been cured. At the same time, 38 thousand 938 people have died. So far, a total of twenty-eight lakh 64 thousand 206 sample tests have been conducted in the country. The recovery rate is 66.31 percent. The death rate is 2.16 percent.

Corona Updates in India:

According to the Ministry of Health, Maharashtra has been the most affected by the corona. So far, four lakh 50 thousand 196 cases of corona have been reported. Out of these, one lakh 47 thousand 324 are active cases. At the same time, two lakh 87 thousand 030 patients have been cured and 15 thousand 842 patients have died.

As compared to the previous day, 1519 decline has been registered in the active case and the number of cured patients has increased by 10 thousand 221.

Single-day spike of 52,050 COVID-19 cases pushes India's virus caseload to 18,55,745.

30 new COVID19 cases in Sikkim, tally 688, active cases 390.

4,752 new COVID19 cases in Karnataka, tally 1,39,571, active cases 74,469; toll rises to 2,594 with 98 more deaths: Health Dept.

Gujarat reports 1,009 COVID-19 cases, taking tally to 64,684; toll rises to 2,509 with 22 new deaths.
