The opposition is continuously attacking the implementation of CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) across the country. However, the Home Minister has made it clear that CAA is the law of this country. We had promised in the manifesto. BJP's agenda is absolutely clear. Every guarantee of Modi will be fulfilled.

The central government had implemented CAA across the country on March 11. But the voices raised against it are also no less. Many petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court against the Citizenship Amendment Act, the hearing on which will start from today.

Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud himself will start hearing the petitions filed on CAA, two other judges in his bench are also involved in the hearing. Hearing will be held on the petitions filed against the Citizenship Act on Tuesday i.e. March 19.

237 petitions from across the country were filed in the Supreme Court to challenge the CAA. Many opposition parties including Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are opposing the citizenship law.

CAA was passed by Parliament on 11 November 2019. At that time many petitions were filed regarding this. Even after it was notified on March 11, 2023, many petitions have been filed against it.

Chief Justice of India (CJI) said that a total of 192 petitions are pending in the Supreme Court against CAA. In such a situation, instructions are being given to hear all the petitions together.

In the petitions filed in the Supreme Court against the Citizenship Amendment Act, it has been said to be against the Constitution and discriminatory on the basis of religion.

AIMIM chief Saduddin Owaisi has also reached the Supreme Court on the issue of Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). Owaisi has appealed in the petition filed in the court that the implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act should be immediately stopped.

Owaisi has demanded from the Supreme Court that CAA has an unholy alliance with NRC. There is a plan to target Indian Muslims through NRC. NRC is coming after CAA.

Indian Union Muslim League, Youth Federation of India, Assam Congress leader Debabrata Saikia and Assam organization AJYCP have filed a petition demanding a ban on CAA notification.

Home Minister Amit Shah has already made it clear that there is no connection between NRC and CAA, this law will never be withdrawn. This is an issue of providing justice to refugees. Let us tell you that there is a provision in CAA to give citizenship to persecuted minorities from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
