Taking the stage, Bhagwat said that the journey of PM Modi holds great significance to the swayamsewaks and workers as we know the importance of that journey.

"His tenure as CM and PM became so bright only because of his journey as a pracharak," Bhagwat added with a touch of finality to his submission.

"Party sent him to Gujarat as state CM even though he had not contested even panchayat elections," Shah reminisced. He described the achievements of CM Modi in details, especially in employment creation, irrigation and creation of appropriate environment to attract private investments.

He remarked that there was despair and decay ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, as youths were on roads, women felt unsafe and investors' were in a vulnerable position.

"The kind of mandate BJP received in the 2014 general elections, cannot be achieved by an election campaign alone, it can’t be achieved by a party, but actually it was the blessings of 125 crore people of the country which led us to such a huge victory," he concluded.
