PM Modi releases postal stamp on Ramayana in Varanasi

Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday released a postal stamp on 'Ramayana' during his visit to historic Tulsi Manas temple here.

Releasing the stamp in the precincts of the Tulsi Manas Temple, he said, "Stamps have a special place in society. They are a wonderful way to preserve our history."

Modi also stressed how the life and ideals of Lord Rama continue to inspire everyone, according to the statement.
