New Delhi: Newly appointed Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari visited a Dalit house in Karol Bagh area in Delhi, which was seen as an attempt to woo Dalits who were largely with the Bahujan Samaj Party. He also had lunch with the family and promised to look for education and employment opportunities for youths of the community.

His appointment has been liked by many of them who invited him to their houses. He accepted invitation of the Valmiki family and visited the house of Vishal Thawaria, party spokesperson Praveen Kapoor said.

The women members of the family handed over the savings to Tiwari and urged him to deposit the money in the Prime Minister's fund. She said," I admire the efforts of PM Modi of creating a new economic order in the country."

Tiwari said," I will try my best to provide additional opportunities to Dalit Youths and to ensure that the benefits of the welfare schemes of PM Modi reached the families."
