Makers clear air on RD Burman song played in iPhoneX advert

Lucknow: After a lot of buzz doing rounds regarding the latest 'Apple' advertisement, The company has now released an official statement clearing the air on the issue.

According to the makers, the official credit for the track used in the advert of iPhoneX, goes to Pete Cannon for his work Bang Bang. The song, however, sounds similar to 'Meri Nazar Hai Tujhpe' from 'The Burning Train'.

Cannon himself has recognised the similarity and tweeted clearing all the speculations regarding the same, saying that the track samples to the work of Indian legendary musician RD Burman. "Hi Guys, I just want to address the sample used in the new Apple iPhoneX advert. It samples a track from the great R D Burman's 'Burning Train’ and it's a MAGICAL piece of music! It was cleared/licensed via Blurred Recs courtesy of Saregama. Everyone is on board and loves it," he tweeted.

It is to be mentioned that a one minute Ad for Apple's product iPhoneX was released recently which had the sound track of the song created by veteran RD Burman for the Bollywood film of the 80s.

Indian fans were in rage that the company had not given any credits to Burman in the video.
